Grow Yorkshire

Grow Yorkshire is a major collaborative initiative led by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority (YNYCA), formerly the Local Enterprise Partnership, which recognizes the food and farming sector as vital to the region's economy and social fabric. Its strategic mission is to invest in the growth and development of agriculture and agri-food businesses, focusing on four key pillars: Environment, Innovation, Skills, and Wellbeing. By fostering a collaborative ecosystem, Grow Yorkshire provides access to specialist information, support, and funding opportunities—such as the Business Sustainability Programme and Business Innovation Fund—to help farmers improve productivity, reduce emissions, adopt precision agriculture technologies, and ensure the long-term resilience and sustainability of their businesses in a rapidly changing legislative and economic landscape.
